Job Description
This will be a
temporary 3 year position, with a possible option for extension into permanent position, based on performance and budget. This is primarily
a remote position, though occasional on-site work may be required. Preference for candidate to live in Missouri.
- Define scope, build
plans, set timelines, align goals; oversee charter authoring and approval process, facilitate planning meetings and status update meetings,
align project goals with executive leadership and strategic initiatives at the university. - Lead teams, assign work, maintain
communication flow; assign tasks and monitor progress, provide guidance and support to team members, foster collaboration and member
accountability. - Manage budgets, allocate resources, track spending where applicable; work with vendor and executive sponsor to
manage project spending. communicate where necessary risks of project running over budgeted amount. - Provide updates, manage
expectations, centralize communication; prepare progress reports for leadership, maintain project plans and documentation for audits and
future reference, serve as primary contact for stakeholder and vendor communications. - Identify risks, mitigate issues, remove
blockers; identify dependent or project-impacting systems and initiatives, escalate resource requests and advocacy, work with project team
leads and sponsors to remove other barriers to completing project tasks, document where risk remediation was not possible and risk was
accepted and understood. - Monitor progress, adjust plans, ensure quality; validate deliverable progress against project charter,
oversee change requests and ensure proper approvals. - Finalize deliverables, conduct reviews, document lessons; validate
deliverables have been completed, develop project closure documentation including transfer to operations procedures, conduct lessons learned
sessions for future reference.

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Minimum
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, information technology, computer science, or a related
area is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer at least four years work experience, managing
enterprise-level projects. Project Management Profession (PMP) is preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary
Range: $45,156.80 – $75,000 Commensurate with experience
