Pay Range: $21.83 – $25.75 hourly Compensation will be
commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime
provisions.

Summary

The UCCS Retail
Dining Supervisor assists the Retail Manager in overseeing operational aspects of the Dining and Hospitality (DHS) Retail establishments,
with specific supervision of the Alpine Express Convenience Store. The Retail Dining Supervisor must possess a spirit of hospitality and
must practice service excellence. Dining and Hospitality Services operating principles are respect, trust, and growth.



This position
is designated as essential services. The ability and willingness to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is
required. Must be committed to student employment and professional development opportunities for students.

Essential
Functions


The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide oversight of
    the Alpine Express Convenience Store including scheduling staff, stocking, taking inventory, and service.
  • Assist the Retail Manager
    in all aspects of operations, maintenance, and service from all Retail outlets as needed.
  • Greet and serve all customers with
    kindness and respect.
  • Take customer orders and process payments.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, tea,
    milk shakes, and specialty beverages.
  • Prepare and serve limited hot food options.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, seating
    areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Restock displays and communicate to the Retail Manager any order or repair
    requirements.
  • Describe and have knowledge of menu items, suggest products, and answer customer questions.
  • Assist in the
    testing and development of beverage recipes.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or coordinating front of house
    retail dining initiatives, with foundational leadership capacity is required.
