General Description / Primary
Purpose:
This is work performing housekeeping duties including cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices, common-use areas, and
carpet and tile floors in accordance with the APPA cleaning standards.
Job Function:
- Leadership
- Cleans
and maintains classrooms, offices, kitchens, conferences rooms, common areas, stairways and building entrance areas. - Cleans windows,
doors, and display cases. - Performs additional floor cleaning and maintenance duties.
- This position is designated as a Tier 2
respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every
effort to return to campus when directed. - Supplementary Responsibilities.

- f) receives and
delivers supplies - g) assists other departments as needed
- h) picks up materials from vendors
- i) helps keep break and
storage areas neat and clean.
Supervision Received:
The incumbent’s work is reviewed by the supervisor
for accuracy and to ensure instructions are being followed.
Schedule Work Hours:
Sunday-Friday 10P-6:30A
Required Qualifications
Completion of ninth (9th) grade required and 1+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent
combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Some positions may require possession of a classified driver’s
license appropriate to a type of vehicle operated.
