Skills Lab Assistant

The School of Nursing is seeking applications for a Skills Lab Assistant. This position will help to ensure the Nursing Skills Lab runs
smoothly.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team who can bring both technical expertise and strong organizational
abilities to a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience providing guidance to new or untrained staff, along with a
solid proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Google Drive applications. A background in the nursing or healthcare field is highly
valued, as is familiarity with medical equipment and supplies.

This role requires excellent organizational skills and the capacity to
manage multiple responsibilities at once while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Candidates should bring experience or knowledge
of laboratory testing, protocols, and procedures, coupled with strong critical thinking abilities to support effective problem-solving. The
position also demands the ability to understand laboratory terminology, techniques, and processes, as well as the physical readiness to meet
the demands of a busy laboratory environment.



Minimum Qualifications:


Associate’s degree in related field or
an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Healthcare certification preferred (CNA, CMA, LPN, etc.).



Minimum
of six months experience in a healthcare setting or as a certified healthcare worker (CNA, LPN, etc.)

This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous
compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family
members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and
experience.
