Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Space Planner – Data Analyst for OIT – Office of Finance & Administration.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Plays a key role in supporting IT operations by coordinating assigned software usage and licensing, overseeing space utilization, producing regular business and operational reports using BI tools and performing data analytics.
- Monitors and administers the member licensing information for assigned software.
- Contributes to informed decision-making through accurate data reporting.
- Supports overall university space efficiency.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Architecture, Construction Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline plus three (3) years of related experience in a business office, government agency or university setting required.
- Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Smartsheets.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing.
- No special vision requirements.
- Must be able to lift or exert force up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
