Illinois College is accepting applications for the part-time SWIC Educational Employee position of Special Projects Coordinator: HSE.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Special
Projects Coordinator: HSE assists the Adult Education Assistant Director in managing the HSE Program at a specific geographic location(s).
The Coordinator conducts class registrations, tracks individual student progress, monitors post-testing, and helps maintain instructional
supplies and equipment. The Coordinator needs a good knowledge of the HSE Program and its curriculum and the GED/HiSet testing procedures.
The position requires day, evening and possibly Saturday work hours. This is a twelve-month position and is dependent upon grant
funding.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Requirements for instructor in Department: Bachelor’s degree and previous teaching
experience.
2. Good communication skills required.
3. Previous teaching in SWIC Adult Education Department
preferred.
4. Background in computers preferred.
PAY AND HOURS
$24.75 per hour, up to 28 hours per
week.
