Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Accounting Coordinatorfor the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The Office of Accounting Services for Research and Sponsored Programs (ASRSP) helps university researchers with financial reporting, invoicing, collecting revenue, coordinating audits, and processing transactions related to their sponsored projects. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Cash, the temporary Accounting Coordinator performs the following:
- Monitoring and managing the Cash email inbox
- Identifying and depositing incoming wire payments
- Working through the backlog of unidentified wires
- Supporting collections efforts
Qualifications Required:
Minimum:
- 3-5 years of financial experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Previous experience utilizing NU Financials or similar software
- Previous experience working with musicians/artists and/or non-profit industry experience
