Key phrases in Japanese – Asking for Directions
- Where is…? – … wa doko desu ka? (…はどこですか？)
- Where is the station? – Eki wa doko desu ka? (駅はどこですか？)
- Where is the bathroom? – Toire wa doko desu ka? (トイレはどこですか？)
- How do I get to…? – … e wa douyatte ikimasu ka? (…へはどうやって行きますか？)
- Is it far? – Tooi desu ka? (遠いですか？)
- Is it close? – Chikai desu ka? (近いですか？)
- Turn left – Hidari ni magatte (左に曲がって)
