£43,434 to £50,296 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an academic with expertise in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS). You will have skills, experience, and research interests in cardiovascular and musculoskeletal MRI and MRS that will complement existing research strengths within Norwich Medical School.

We encourage applications from individuals with a strong technical background. You should have experience across the whole breadth of MRI/MRS research: ideally demonstrating knowledge of MRI hardware, pulse sequence programming, clinical applications, image processing, and statistical analysis. In addition to this technical grounding, you should also have clinical interests in the cardiovascular system and support neuroimaging and musculoskeletal research, with a drive to investigate these using MR methods.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in medical imaging, medical physics, or a related science subject.

The post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis and will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
