Applications are invited for the fixed-term post of Lecturer in Italian Cultural Studies (teaching and scholarship, i.e. research is not included), which is tenable from 1st September 2022 to 30 June 2023. The post is offered on a 0.8 FTE basis (equivalent to 4 days per week).
You must have a PhD in a relevant field and demonstrable teaching experience, both in-person and online, in Italian Studies at university level. You must be fluent in English and Italian. The position is open to candidates working on all areas of Italian cultural studies, but we will not consider those working in the field of linguistics. Preference may be given to candidates working on contemporary Italian culture and who are able to teach critical theory at MA level. The appointed person will be required to contribute to language teaching. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to empathise with students.
