About the Role
The School of Politics and International Relations is pleased to announce that we are seeking an exceptional scholar to take up the position of a one-year fixed term Lectureship in Gender and Politics
The postholders will contribute to the intellectual life of the School, Faculty and University and the wider research field of Politics/International Relations. They will work with a diverse community of colleagues and students to deliver excellent teaching and research. We welcome applications from across the range sub-fields, but an ability to contribute to core teaching in Gender and Politics is essential.
You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Political Science/International Relations or relevant Social Sciences/Humanities area and must have a developing reputation for internationally excellent research and an established record of high-quality publications. You will contribute to teaching and convening modules in International Security, offer research supervision and contribute more broadly to teaching and research within the School. You will have an understanding of the opportunities and challenges involved in teaching a diverse student cohort.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is one-year, fixed term appointment with an expected start date of 1st September 2022. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £43,069 – £45,479 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
