LSE Fellow in Sociology of Race and Gender
Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months
The post will commence from 1 September 2022
The Department of Sociology is seeking a full-time LSE Fellow to teach on the sociology of race and gender at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to act as academic mentor to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
You will have a completed or near-completed PhD in Sociology or a closely related discipline. You should have a high level of knowledge and a developing research profile in the sociology of race and gender, and relevant skills and experience in teaching in these areas. You will have the ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers and to provide effective support within a teaching team, and to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment. You will possess excellent communication and presentation skills. A commitment to equality and diversity is essential.
