Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research analyst in biomedical sciences to work with experienced academics – taking a central role in developing and delivering the Trials Delivery Framework within DPUK. Reporting to Dr Vanessa Raymont, you will be instrumental in the development of the clinical aspects of Trials Delivery Framework and the incorporation of sites.
The post is full time and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.
The post is for a fixed term (funded for three years).
You will be responsible for the development of clinical trial protocols for use across sites and the development of agreements between sites and with participants. As the Trials Delivery Framework develops, this will also include the analysis of data collected, identification of development opportunities and the co-ordination of trials being implemented around the network and the management of the clinical trials data.
You will have or be close to the completion of a PhD in biomedical sciences or a related discipline with a substantial statistics component. With experience in experimental design you will be familiar with statistical packages such as R, STATA or SAS and be able to manage multiple projects, prioritise short and long-term goals, and deliver within deadlines. Postdoctoral experience in trials management would be desirable as would experience in analysing clinical databases and working with clinical teams.
