About the Role

The School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London seeks to appoint a highly motivated individual for the post of Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator. The post holder will be part of the Professional Services team, reporting to the School Marketing Manager.

The individual will be responsible for the effective implementation of student-customer relationship management processes from application up to enrolment. Promoting the School to become the School of choice for prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.

About You

The successful candidate will have exemplar communication and stakeholder management skills and ideally have experience in student recruitment and be passionate about the School and Queen Mary University of London. With a keen interest in marketing within the higher education sector.

The post holder will be working with a range of stakeholders across the University including colleagues from the Marketing and Communications Directorate, HSS academic faculties and Global Engagement team.

The post holder will be expected to have an input into the School’s wider recruitment and marketing strategy, organise and implement events, develop relevant and targeted pre and post-application marketing materials, provide web content to improve our online presence and strengthen School’s existing relationships domestically as well as internationally.

The School of Business and Management is one of the eight schools in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and has been undergoing a period of rapid growth. We have over 2000 business studies students plus approximately 800 students taking business in combination with other degree subjects within the university.

The School’s core purpose is to promote social justice, sustainability and good governance in the management of private, public and voluntary organisations through our research and education.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of May 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £28,208 – £34,733 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
