Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Architecture to join our world-leading research centre and a team of dedicated staff delivering our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
The Lancaster School of Architecture is approaching its third year of operation. Based within the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts (LICA), it is associated with the world-leading Imagination research centre, which has a well established track record of innovative research around the built environment. The new senior lecturer will take a role in the development of Architecture at Lancaster University, contribute to the academic delivery of and recruitment to the Part I (BA Architecture), Part II (MArch), and PhD programmes, contribute to the growth of our architectural research and engagement portfolio, and promote research-led teaching. The successful candidate will have prior experience in architectural education, and be able to lead aspects of curriculum delivery. This is one of three posts for which we are seeking candidates with expertise in Professional Practice, Architectural Technology, or Architectural Humanities.
