The Role and duties
We are seeking a new part-time (30 hours per week) Tennis Performance Coach at our Colchester campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching the Men’s and Women’s first teams in BUCS, recruiting talented athletes to the University and delivering the key targets and ambitions of the University of Essex’s 3 year Tennis Performance Plan.
The post holder will work closely with all Essex Sport staff and both internal and external partners to provide a transformational educational experience to students within the Tennis performance programme.
Qualifications and skills required
The position requires a suitably qualified person with Tennis coaching experience and qualifications, as well as other relevant experience gained within a Tennis setting. Importantly, the position requires enthusiasm and flexibility, ability to work independently and under pressure and a commitment to continuous professional development.
