As a Dining
Services Hospitality Associate, you will serve customers in an efficient and courteous manner. The Dining Services Hospitality Associate
will work with management and co-workers to instill and foster the value of the Villanova Mission Statement and the Dining Services Mission
Statement. The individual will focus on our Core Values: Safety and Sanitation, Friendly Courteous Service, and Excellence. All of our

Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the
Dining Services Department, you may work in any of the following positions: front of the house- food production/serving/cashier/barista and
back of the house food production. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Set-up, maintain, and break down all service lines.
Ability to prepare and/or cook food for cold production and for pizza/grill lines. Stock, rotate and replenish merchandise as needed. Back
of the house production includes salad and fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, and commissary items - May work on any of the following
stations serving our customers: sandwich/salad/pizza/grill/Holy Grounds areas/register stations - Cleans and sanitizes food equipment
and dining room tables and chairs - Works special events/weekends as required
- Assists in the dish room area if needed
including sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash/recycling - Perform additional job duties as directed by supervisor or
manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic reading and writing skills; basic communication
skills - Excellent customer service skills
- Practices excellent personal hygiene habits and follows and adheres to uniform
standards - Ability to: follow directions and complete assigned tasks, work with minimal supervision, and to interact with people on a
constant basis
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred – High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred –
Basic knowledge of food service safety and sanitation - Preferred – Serv Safe Training and Allergy Awareness
Training
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
- Ability to stand for extended
periods - Ability to lift, push/pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40 pounds with assistance
- Ability to withstand
extreme temperatures
