Job Summary:

This full-time position will be responsible for coordinating the needs of multiple faculty and
programs within the Section of General Pediatrics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage schedules for Gen Peds faculty in
    Qgenda.
  • Create CHC yearly call schedule.
  • Manage and track CU-Medicine and University accounts and generate simple
    reports.
  • Process invoices and reimbursements.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings among multiple people to occur by phone or in
    person.
  • Track faculty files for credentialing, including BLS/PALS recertification, license renewal, DEA, and association dues.
    Proactively assist faculty in renewals to avoid lapses in credentialing and memberships.
  • Coordinate and create a quarterly Section
    newsletter.
  • Support a variety of Section-wide projects, as needed.
  • Conduct typical office management functions such as
    ordering office supplies, file maintenance, answering phones, and attending staff meetings.
  • Perform data entry for
    projects.
  • Organize staff/faculty recognition and events, such as the annual holiday party.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as
    assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:


  • A combination of related education and/or
    relevant general clerical or administrative experience, equal to four (4) years.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the
time of hire.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Must successfully pass a 10-panel drug test through Children’s
    Hospital Colorado.
    Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal and sex-offender background check.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a hospital or academic setting.
  • Experience working
    with Microsoft Office, Qgenda, and Epic.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Ability to communicate
    effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all
    levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple complex
    functions at once.
  • Willingness to exercise judgment, discretion, and be comfortable making decisions independently.
  • Basic
    understanding of office equipment, faxing, copying, etc.
  • General understanding of Academic Medicine.
